Homework is checked daily first thing in the morning and the packet is collected on Friday. Refer to the weekly coversheets to see what assignments your child needs to complete at home as well as to read classroom news updates.  
​**RLA means "Reading-Language Arts."

Math Quarter 2 Assessment:  This quarter, the test assesses skills that include identifying fractions, figuring out number patterns, measurement, double-digit addition and subtraction, reading bar graphs and charts, and telling time.  I've included some sample test questions which the class will be practicing in class. You are welcome to download these test questions to review with your child.  The particular test questions I've written focus on skills that my students have found especially challenging.  The constructed response questions can be quite tough and frustrating for children, so I've included a quadruple dose of those!
